If you are a student interested in playing sports in college, you need to register with the NAIA and/or NCAA for eligibility.
NAIA began taking registrations on September 1, 2013, for those students interested in playing NAIA sports in 2014-15 or after. All students who wish to participate in athletics at a member institution will need to be certified by the NAIA Eligibility Center to qualify academically and be cleared as an eligible student-athlete for competition. Click here to go to the NAIA Guide for the College-Bound Student Athlete. For more information, check out their website at www.PlayNAIA.org.
The NCAA Eligibility Center will certify the academic and amateur credentials of all college-bound student-athletes who wish to compete in NCAA Division I or II athletics. To assist with this process, the Eligibility Center staff fosters a cooperative environment of education and partnership with high schools, high school coaches and college-bound student-athletes. Ultimately, the individual student-athlete is responsible for achieving and protecting his or her eligibility status. Click here for the NCAA Guide for the College-Bound Student Athlete. For additional information, check out their website at www.eligibilitycenter.org .
It is also important to send ACT information directly to the NAIA and /or NCAA. Please go to www.actstudent.org and request your scores be sent directly to NAIA and /or NCAA. The information on your official high school transcript is NOT acceptable.
