The Quincy Notre Dame softball program has long been recognized for its strong committment to tradition. With three state titles (1981, 1982, 1984) and seven total trips to the state finals, the Lady Raiders look forward to adding to its prestigious past.

 The 2010 Lady Raider softball team had an outstanding year at (29-7) before losing a heartbreaker in the regional final to Central/Southeastern.  All-State honors wnt to senior Karlee Gengenbacher and junior Danielle Sanders.  Both players also collected their 100th career hit and sophomore Bailey Gengenbacher set teh sigle season record for most runs scored in a season.  Sophomore Aubrey Wilson won (19) games in the pitching circle.

The 2009 QND Softball team had another successful season posting a (26-8) record that included two wins over QHS and wins over Rock Island Alleman and Lincoln before losing a heartbreaker inthe regional championship against Chatham Glenwood.  Sophomore Kelsey Ley recorded her 100th career hit and senior Kristy Obert won 16 games from the pitching circle to lead the Lady Raiders. Sophomores Kelsey Ley and Danielle Sanders were named to  the Illinois Coaches Associan All-State team.

The 2008 Lady Raider softball team recently won the 700th game in the program's history with a 1-0 vicotry over city rival Quincy Sr. Highlights from this season include (2) vicotries over QHS, and victories over Beardstown, Payson, Pittsfield, and Lewistown. The team finished with a (25-9) record in 2008. Freshmen outfielder Kelsey Ley was named to the Illinois Coaches Association All-State team.

The 2007 QND softball team finished the season with a 23-6 mark. Some highlights included victories over Piasa Southwestern, Pleasant Plains, Alton Marquette, Columbia, and Payson Seymour. Senior left fielder Kaleena Hummel and junior 3rd basemen Renita Bunte collected theri 100th career hits in the spring. Team MVP's went to junior shortstop Elise Obert and senior pitcher Emily Miller. Senior centerfielder Brooklyn McCulloch rapped up a great career as a Lady Raider as she now ranks in the top five of (8) career school offensive records. Elise Obert was named a 1st team Class AA all-stater while Renita Bunte was named to the 3rd team all-state.

The 2006 season was full of of exciting action and record-breaking performances. Some highlights included victories over Quincy High in the regular season and post-season. Other games included victories over Payson-Seymour and Beardstown, and Alton Marquette rounded out a successful year. The team lost in the IHSA Class AA regional championship game to Alton High School by a score of 4-3 as Alton rallied for two runs in the bottom of the 7th inning to claim the championship.
