The current program consists of JV and Varsity cheerleaders. Tryouts are held each spring for the following year for the two squads. Both squads cheer for soccer, football and basketball. The girls practice Tuesdays and Wednesdays after school during the school year. During the summer, the girls practice Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Every summer the girls attend a cheer camp held by the Universal Cheerleading Association. We received top honors for both squads this year. The girls also host two Kiddie Cheer camps and participate in various community service projects throughout the year. Our Pack the Pantry promotion is one we always look forward to. The QND Cheerleaders attended UCA Cheer Camp at Western Illinois University in Macomb July 7 – 10. They received all Blue Ribbons. JV won 1st Place in home pom, 2 superior squad trophies, and 5 girls made All American. The squad won the extension contest and reload contest. They also received the Top Banana Award and the Leadership Award, which are the 2 most prestigious awards at camp, and numerous acclamations for their outstanding character and good examples that they were good representatives for all the camp. They were truly what QND represents in all aspects. The competitive cheer team has also made two state final appearances and has competed at IHSA Sectionals five times. We look forward to another great year of Quincy Notre Dame Cheerleading and Raider Pride! 2012-2013 Varsity Squad: Payton Reichert, Addie Schwenk, Kate Sculley, Natalie Standley, Summer Weimelt, Kelli Meyer, Paige Schreacke, Reagan Bliven, Anna Badamo, Emily Terstriep, Allison Keck, Jayley Janssen, Nicole Waterkotte, Hannah Marcolla, Gabby Gengenbacher, Michelle Ginster, Abby Dreyer, Julia Houghton 2012-2013 Junior Varsity Squad: Miranda Mefford, Abby Moore, Emily Toth, Emily Smith, Sam Pettibone, Maddison Ervin, Kelly Obert, Makayla Herzog, Bridgette Ohnemus, McKenna Peters, Taylor Leindecker, Madelyn Vahle, Grace Peters, Rachael Becker, Lauren Leffers, Sydney Wellman, Sydney Strieker, Rachel Holtmeyer
