QND 2012 FUNDRAISING CHALLENGE - $405,000
“Empowering the Next Generation”
Quincy Notre Dame kicks-off its 35th Annual Fund Campaign with a goal of $405,000. Each year, two chairpersons take up the fundraising challenge to invest in future leaders of the community. This year, John Johannes and Julie Bowen are joining fifty-nine others who previously have donated leadership to the campaign as general chairpersons.
The business phase of the campaign, which has four divisions, runs for six weeks starting today.
The parish phase titled “QND Commitment Sunday” will be held Sunday, March 4th in Quincy and Hannibal, Mo., Catholic parishes.
The final phase of the drive, held April and May, is focused on receiving support from out-of-town alumni. Class agents will personally be calling upon out-of-town alumni for support in April, much like the business phase of the campaign. The annual alumni phon-a-thon will follow May 7-17 during which QND alumni and friends will contact out-of-town alumni for support.
As a Catholic institution of secondary education, Quincy Notre Dame relies heavily on private support. During the past thirty-four years, this support has been outstanding. The Annual Fund Campaign has raised nearly $10 million.
The current educational cost per pupil for 2011-12 is $5,800. Parent cost (tuition) for the year is $4,700. QND presently has 386 students.
