QND Student Wins Best of Show

QND sophomore Alexis Li's Annabelle Lee, tempera paint, won Best of Show. The Quincy Art Center and the Quincy Public Library sponsored a POEster Contest for 8th through 12th grade students as part of The Big Read. Many artists such as, Timothy Cole, Gustave Doré and Édouard Manet, have used Edgar Allan Poe’s poems as inspiration for their artwork.

The POEster Contest Exhibit will be displayed in the Quincy Art Center’s Jack Boge Memorial Conference Room, October 21 – November 12.
