National Honor Society![]() Moderators: Mrs. McCulloch & Mrs. White The National Honor Society (NHS) is an honor organization of members who have achieved a high degree of excellence during their four years at QND. Students who have a 3.5 cumulative grade point average after their junior year are eligible for membership. Scholarship alone however, does not guarantee membership into the organization. Consideration is also given to participation in school and community activities as well as work experience. Each teacher rates the students they have had in class or an extracurricular activity in three areas: Leadership - Character - Service These ratings are then tabulated and selection of members into NHS is made using predetermined criteria. Honor Society members are required to do service hours for school and community projects. |
