S.A.D.D.

Moderator: Mrs. Lask

S.A.D.D. stands for Students Against Dangerous Decisions.
This organizations's purpose is for students to become informed about and then encourage other students to choose healthy alternatives to dangerous decisions, particularly concerning drinking, drinking and driving, using drugs, and engaging in other harmful activities. It also is a PROactive group by "Promoting Realistic Options" for peers.

Toward these ends, meetings are held once a month (after school on the first Friday of each month) to discuss ideas and organize activities.

A two-tiered membership is in effect - ACTIVE MEMBERS & ASSOCIATE MEMBERS. The active members attend meetings, plan events, and take leadership roles. Associate members are students who stand for the ideals of S.A.D.D. and participate as their other activities permit. In effect, every student in the school can be involved in S.A.D.D.
