Quincy Notre Dame admits a broad cross-section of students with varying academic, leadership, athletic, and artistic abilities. Although the student body is predominantly Roman Catholic, students of all faiths are welcomed!

The minimum age for admission is 13 years of age for ninth grade. Students applying for entrance to QND from the eighth grade must have earned a diploma or present transcripts from an accredited school exhibiting the satisfactory completion of course work required for entrance to the ninth grade. Students applying at other grade levels must present transcripts from accredited schools exhibiting the ability and desire to perform at QND.

The Placement Test at QND for all incoming 9th graders will take place on Saturday, December 5, from 8:00 am - 11:30 am. This standardized test is the EXPLORE Test providing a baseline for where your student is academically. Sophomores take the PLAN test, and Juniors take the Practice ACT, ACT, PSAT/NMSQT, and/or SAT. All incoming Freshmen are encouraged to take the Placement Test. An Honor Scholarship, paying up to full-tuition the first year, is awarded to the student with the highest test score.
