Quincy Notre Dame High School has expanded its school day by adding an eighth period to their schedule. The school day now begins at 7:45 a.m. and ends at 2:17 p.m. Only band will be offered as an early bird class beginning at 7:00 am. Click here for new daily schedule.

This expansion of schedule will create a number of positive effects for our students:
-
Enhancement of the Fine Arts Program with the introduction of Graphic Design and inclusion of Chorus into the regular school day
-
Additional class offerings
-
Smaller class sizes
-
More individualized teacher attention to student needs
-
More accessibility to dual credit classes (possibility of earning 18 college credits during high school career).
QND has gone through four major evaluations during the past three years: Illinois State Board of Education, Diocesan Evaluation, North Central/AdvancED, and the Institute for School and Parish Development. Expanding the schedule is just one step for enhancing QND. All of these evaluations, especially the ongoing ISPD implementation process, will spawn more enhancements in the future.
