Dear Alumni,
The first semester of the 2009-10 school year was tremendous! There were so many positive things that happened. The ISPD Convocation on December 11 was the culmination of four months of intensive work done by over 150 people. “Great Today-Better Tomorrow” was the slogan for all the work. We will now start on the implementation part of this assessment and formulate an action plan for the near future. A huge thank you goes to the Tracy Family Foundation for contracting with the Institute of School and Parish Development out of New Orleans to lead this process with QND and nine other Catholic schools in the area. All schools should be reaping the benefits of this process very shortly.
We began second semester on January 4. I hope that each one of you enjoyed a Christmas and New Year filled with God’s blessings, family, and fond memories. From the week before Christmas through the holidays, I had the opportunity to meet with approximately fifty alumni in various venues and situations. It warms my heart to hear the positive stories about QND and the effect of those four years on present success. As always, please feel free to contact me if you wish to see your alma mater or just talk about how you and your family are doing at the present time. Feel free to contact me through e-mail rheilmann@quincynotredame.org or by phoning me at 217-223-2479.
Thank you for your prayers, support, and investment in QND. God bless you and your loved ones.
Ray Heilmann, Principal of Quincy Notre Dame High School
