The Quincy Notre Dame Foundation recently received $101,000 from an anonymous donor for capital upgrades and specific improvements to the QND campus. The donation will provide funds to add a security card entry system into the school, enhance the performing arts classroom with new carpet and lockers, and install an updated sound system in the gymnasium.
“We are very grateful to be a recipient of this donation. The funds provide the means to continue the work in the Long Range Facilities Plan improving our campus and ensuring it remains as safe as possible,” said Kurt Stuckman, executive director of the QND Foundation.
With the help of generous donors and grants, QND has continually enhanced many areas of the campus. Recent improvements include the renovation of room 15 with modern collegiate style seating and enhanced technology, an updated conference room, installation of a new HVAC system in the gym, and enriching the iMac graphic arts lab as well as placing new iMac computers in the QND multi-media center. These projects assist QND with providing a state-of-the-art learning environment.
