Quincy Notre Dame’s Coach Eric Orne, longtime Lady Raider basketball head coach, will be inducted into the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame this spring. Coach Orne won 363 games over 14 seasons as head coach, won three state championships and led the program to back-to-back state titles in different classes for the first time in IHSA history.
The Illinois Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame was founded in 1973 to honor the best and most influential players, teams, coaches, media, officials, and friends of basketball in Illinois history. Since then, a new Hall of Fame class has been inducted every year.
Congratulations to Coach Orne!
