2019 Hall of Fame

Jim Bickhaus ’52

Inducted 2019. Bickhaus was the driving force behind Quincy Notre Dame’s run to the single-class state baseball championship game in 1952.

Andrea Edgar ’03

Inducted 2019. With the help of her father, Andy Edgar, as well as principal Ray Heilmann and athletic director Bill Connell, the inaugural season for girls cross country kicked off in the fall of 2000 with seven girls joining Edgar.

Jamie Blaesing ’95

Inducted 2019. Before going on to become one of the best pitchers in Quincy University history, Blaesing was an outstanding two-sport athlete at QND.

Larry Zanger ’63

Inducted 2019. With five children participating in sports at Quincy Notre Dame, Zanger figured he would be at all kinds of sporting events for many years.

1969 Football Team

Inducted 2019. Before the Illinois High School Association created the state playoff format for football in 1974, the 1969 Christian Brothers team was arguably the best in school history.

2005 Boys Soccer Team

Inducted 2019. They started the playoffs with a record of 7-11-3, but shutout victories over Greenville, Springfield Lutheran, Pleasant Plains and Rochester punched a ticket for the Class A state tournament in Naperville.
