3) Is my gift tax deductible?

The investment you make to the capital campaign is 100% tax deductible through the QND Foundation.

4) Can I make a multi-year pledge?

Yes, you can make a one-time gift or up to a 5 year pledge.

6) Will this campaign have an impact on what we charge for tuition?

No. This campaign will not have an impact on the tuition we charge our students. To date, the QND Foundation has raised over $4 million dollars in the last 10 years towards capital and programmatic upgrades without any sort of tuition impact.

7) What is the purpose of this campaign?

The purpose of this campaign is to provide a state-of-the-art educational experience for our students. With the ever-increasing impact we see from the focus on S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) related courses, this is QND’s opportunity to ensure we stay in-line with the importance of S.T.E.M. related educational opportunities.

We will be building two new classrooms that will enable QND to assess how we can expand the curriculum moving into the future. As part of the campaign we will also be revitalizing parts of our school with the restroom renovations and moving our guidance offices up to near the principal’s office.

We will also secure the long-term stability of QND through endowment growth and sustain financial growth and affordable tuition.

8) How were your goals determined?

Our goals were determined after we had completed the feasibility study, evaluated the results and compare them to the facilities portion of our long-range plan.

9) How long will the project take until completion?

We have been informed that the project will take 12 months.

10) How is the QND Foundation being fiscally responsible?

The QND Foundation works in conjunction with a joint financial council with the school board and meets quarterly. The foundation also has a separate audit committee that meets quarterly, further the QND Foundation also has a complete annual independent audit.

11) How was the campaign case determined?

The campaign case was determined after updating the facilities portion of the long range plan in conjunction with the results of the feasibility students conducted by our consultant, Partners in Mission.

12) Why are you making these capital improvements?

These improvements are being made to a building that was built in the late 1950’s. QND has done a great job maintaining the building but simply put, it’s time to take QND to the next level.
