Quincy Notre Dame is happy to welcome our friends from Germany to QND for the first time since 2019. Our ongoing partnership supported by the German Sister City Program with Herford, Germany, provides students with a true immersive experience with local host families.

This opportunity continues to produce long lasting friendships between our schools, families, and communities on both sides of the ocean. A group of QND students will travel to Germany in June.

The German students have enjoyed their week at QND spending time in our classes, celebrating all-school Mass with us, attending sporting events, participating in the sophomore retreat/service day and more.

They also toured the John Wood Mansion and a fire department, traveled to Hannibal and St. Louis along with many other activities with their host families.
