QND Announces 2026 Fund Drive Goal of $505,000
Led by Co-Chairs Carrie Lavery ’93 and Kyle Venvertloh ’00
January 23, 2026 – Quincy Notre Dame has announced a goal of $505,000 for the 2026 QND Fund Drive. The Fund Drive kicks off today and runs through the calendar year. Since its inception in 1977, the Fund Drive has raised over $19 million which plays a vital role in QND remaining a pillar of Catholic secondary education in Quincy.
Dollars raised through the Fund Drive helps keep tuition affordable by paying a portion of the school’s operating costs and closing the gap between the cost to educate a student and tuition. The Fund Drive additionally supports QND’s financial aid program. This school year, 47% of QND students receive financial assistance.
“The QND Fund Drive has continued to see great success over the past several years,” said QND Foundation Executive Director Kurt Stuckman. “We hope for and are confident in another successful campaign to help our school remain a debt free secondary educational institution. We are extremely grateful for the past support and look forward to a terrific campaign and bright future for the students QND. Thank you to those who believe in what we do.”
Each year, two chairpersons take up the fundraising challenge to invest in our future leaders of the community. This year, Carrie Lavery ’93 and Kyle Venvertloh ’00 join numerous others who have previously donated leadership to the campaign as chairpersons.
Carrie Lavery and her husband, John, are both graduates of QND. Carrie is a 1993 graduate and John is a 1989 graduate. They both earned bachelor’s degrees from Millikin University. They are active members of St. Peter Church and are proud parents of three children. Calvin ’22 and Charlie ’23 have followed in their footsteps as QND graduates, while their youngest, Ellie, is currently a sophomore at QND.
“I am truly humbled to serve once again as a co-chair of our Annual Fund Drive,” said Lavery. “We are deeply grateful for the generosity of our QND supporters whose faithful giving makes such a difference. Because of you, we are able to continue forming students in faith, service, and excellence, and to keep the QND legacy strong for generations to come.”
Kyle Venvertloh is a 2000 QND graduate. He later graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University with a degree in Mathematics and an MBA from Quincy University. He has worked at Quincy Recycle since 2017 and has been active on QND’s Board of Directors, Jr. Raider Youth Football Program, and various ministries at St. Peter Parish. Kyle and his wife Kimberly, also a 2000 QND graduate, have three children. John is a junior at QND and is active in athletics and House System. Mary Emma is a 7th grader at St. Peter’s School while Madeline is in Pre-K.
“Quincy Notre Dame is and must continue to be a thriving force for good. It continues to send lifelong learners into the world for lives of service,” states Venvertloh. “Kimberly and I are so blessed to have QND as part of our lives and excited to help support its mission. It is with great Raider Pride that I accept this co-chair role for the QND Fund Drive and look forward to working with Carrie Lavery and a great team. Thank you for all who will help make this a success and ensure that Quincy Notre Dame’s best days lay ahead. Go Raiders!”
