1998-99 Boys Basketball Team

Inducted 2015. Douglas guided the Raiders to three 20-victory seasons in his first three seasons, but the program’s turnaround was made complete when his 1998-99 team finished third in the Class A state tournament.

1995 Football Team

1995 Football Team

Inducted 2015. The Quincy Notre Dame football team had suffered through 10 losing seasons in 13 seasons but when the 1994 team went 10-1 and was ranked No. 1 in the Class 2A state poll for the final four weeks of the regular season, expectations were extremely high for the 1995 season.

Scott Venvertloh Old

Scott Venvertloh

Inducted 2015. Before Scott Venvertloh’s junior year in the fall of 1993, the QND football team had suffered through three consecutive 1-8 seasons. By the time he graduated, he was a first-team All-Stater and had helped the Raiders to an undefeated regular season in 1994.

Lanny Bunfill Current

Inducted 2015. It beats sitting around the house on a winter’s night. That’s the reason that Lanny Bunfill accepted Virgil Niewohner’s invitation to become a ticket taker for home basketball games at Quincy Notre Dame High School.

George McDonnell Current

Inducted 2015. After graduating from The Ranney School in Tinton Falls, N.J., George McDonnell hoped to make the roster of the Quincy College men’s soccer team that was in the midst of a decade of dominance in the NAIA.
